MOTION: PRINCIPI November 16, 2010 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: CADDIGAN Ord. No. 10 -58 <br />RE: PROFFER AMENDMENT #PLN2010- 00455, HARBOR STATION <br />SOUTH AMENDMENT - WOODBRIDGE AND DUMFRIES <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICTS <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to amend the proffers of Rezoning #PLN2006- <br />00194 relating to off -site commuter parking. The ±742 ac. site is located south of Cherry Hill <br />Rd. ±1.2 mi. east of New Cherry Hill Rd and extending south to Possum Point Rd. and east to <br />the CSX Railroad, and identified as GPINs 8288 -88 -1665, 8289 -91 -1918, 8388 -18 -4994, 8389- <br />00 -0137, 8389 -11 -0801, 8389 -16 -5368, 8389 -41 -3404, 8389 -42 -9772, 8389 -52 -0622, 8389 -52- <br />1394, 8389 -52 -1680, 8389 -52 -1849, 8389 -52 -2672, 8389 -52 -4232, 8389 -52 -5473. The site is <br />zoned Planned Business District (PBD) and Planned Mixed Residential (PMR) and is <br />designated Suburban Residential Low, Suburban Residential High, Regional Employment <br />Center, Environmental Resource and is part of the Potomac Communities Sector Plan in the <br />Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />October 6, 2010, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 10- <br />00152; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on November 16, 2010, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Proffer Amendment #PLN2010- 00455, Harbor <br />Station South Amendment, subject to the proffers dated August 20, 2010; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any proffers does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent owners <br />from compliance with provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or adopted <br />standards. <br />
