No. 10 -21 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT 4PLN2010- 00247, SHANE'S SIGNS - <br />GAINESVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request for a Special Use Permit to allow a rural home <br />business for the operation of a graphic art and sign business in an A -1, Agricultural district. <br />The site is located at the southern corner of the Mountain Rd. /Gaines Rd. intersection, is <br />addressed as 17015 Gaines Road, is identified as GPIN 7199 -10 -3910 and is designated AE, <br />Agricultural or Estate in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />April 7, 2010, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 10 -055; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on May 4, 2010 and interested citizens <br />were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2010- 00247, Shane's Signs, <br />subject to the conditions dated March 25, 2010; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and /or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or <br />adopted standards. <br />
