MOTION:THOMPSON February 4,1997 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND:WILBOURN Ord.No,97-18 <br />RE:REZONING #96-0043,DUSTY ROAD DEVELOPMENT (BRENTSVILLE <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT) <br />ACTION:APPROVED AS PROFFERED <br />WHEREAS,this is an application for the rezoning of the property known as <br />Dusty Road Development,41.8 acres from A-i,Agricultural to PMR -Low,Planned Mixed <br />Residential,located on at the terminus of Dusty Road and the west side ofRidgeway Drive, <br />approximately 0.5 mile west of its intersection with Kahn’s Road.The site is designated SRR, <br />Semi-rural Residential in the 1990 Comprehensive Plan and is located in the Brentsville <br />Magisterial District;and <br />WHEREAS,staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in their staff report prepared December 18,1996;and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />January 8,1997 and recommends approval,as stated in Res.No.97-003;and <br />WHEREAS,a public hearing,duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />oftwo weeks,was held on February 4,1997,and interested citizens were heard;and <br />WHEREAS,general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #96-0043,Dusty Road Development,and <br />accepts the proffers dated December 12,1996,and received by the Planning Office on <br />December 12,1996; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors’ <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances,regulations,or <br />adopted standards.
