MOTION:BARG January 21,1997 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND:BILL Ord,No,9742 <br />RE:SPECIAL USE PERMIT #97.~0OO3,NAKKKUSA TEMPLE <br />(CAMBODIAN BUDDHIST TEMPLE)(BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL <br />DISTRICT) <br />ACTION:APPROVED <br />WHEREAS,this is an application for a special use pennit to allow a religious <br />institution located at 10505 Kettle Run Road,The site is designated RR,Rural Residential in <br />the 1990 Comprehensive Plan and is located in the Brentsville Magisterial District;and <br />WHEREAS,staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in their staff report prepared October 28,1996;and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held public hearings on this item on <br />November 20,1996 and December 18,1996 and recommends approval,as stated in Res.No, <br />96460;and <br />WHEREAS,a public hearing,duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />oftwo weeks,was held on January 21,1997,and interested citizens were heard;and <br />WHEREAS,general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #97~0003,NAKKKUSA Temple <br />(Cambodian Buddhist Temple),subject to the following conditions: <br />1.The site shall be developed in substantial conformance with the Special Use Permit Plan <br />prepared by Civil Design Services,Inc.,dated November 4,1996,and received by the Office <br />ofPlanning on November 5,1996. <br />2.This special use permit shall be valid for a period of two years from the date of approval by <br />the Board of County Supervisors. <br />3.The applicant shall submit a site plan within two months of the approval of this special use <br />permit,for all construction shown on the Special Use Permit Plan,for review and adherence <br />to the conditions ofthis special use permit and all applicable County regulations and shall <br />diligently pursue approval within 120 days ofthe granting of this special use permit.The <br />applicant shall perform the necessary improvements in accordance with the site plan within <br />60 days ofthe site plan approval.
