MOTION: NOHE December 6, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: BARG Ord. No. 05-90 <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2005-00256, HAWKINS ESTATES - <br />COLES MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone +/- 193 acres from A-1, Agricultural to, <br />Planned Mixed Residential Low, and allow waivers and modifications to development <br />standards of the Zoning Ordinance and the requirements of the DCSM.. The site is located on <br />Spriggs Road, approximately 0.5 miles south of its intersection with Minnieville Road, and is <br />identified as GPINs #8091-52-2318, 8091-31 5181, 8091-40-2991, 8091-30-1983, and 8091- <br />31-9413. The site is designated Suburban Residential Low, and Environmental Resource in the <br />Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />July 20, 2005, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. #05-082; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on December 6, 2005, <br />and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #PLN2005-00256, Hawkins Estates, <br />subject to the proffers dated December 6, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
