MOTION: COVINGTON October 18, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: STEWART Ord. No. 05-77 <br />RE: AGRICULTURAL AND FORESTAL DISTRICT (AFD) #PLN2005-00456, <br />CO WELL PROPERTY — BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION® APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to prematurely remove approximately 167.3 acres <br />from Agricultural and Forestal District #79-1 in the Brentsville Magisterial District, located <br />n i <br />approximately 0.3 miles south of the intersection of Fleetwood Drive and Aden Road. The site <br />is designated AE, Agricultural or Estate, in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prince William County Planning Commission held a public <br />hearing on this item on September 21, 2005, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning <br />Commission Res. No. 05-098; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for two weeks, was held on October 18, 2005, and interested parties were <br />heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good land use practices are served by the <br />approval of the application; and <br />WHEREAS, it is expressly detuinihied that the applicant has demonstrated <br />good and reasonable cause to permit early removal of this property from the Agricultural and <br />Forestal District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Agricultural and Forestal District (AFD) application <br />#PLN2005-00456, Cornwell Property, to remove approximately 167.3 acres from Agricultural <br />and Forestal District #79-1; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent owners from com- <br />pliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
