MOTION: STIRRUP October 4, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: BARG Ord. No. 05-66 <br />RE: IMPLEMENT SECTION 13-320.1 OF THE PRINCE WILLIAM <br />COUNTY CODE TO RESTRICT THE ON -STREET PARKING OF <br />BOAT TRAILERS AND SIMILAR VEHICLES IN THE BULL RUN <br />SUBDIVISION - GAINESVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the on -street parking of boat trailers and similar vehicles causes <br />safety concerns in the Bull Run subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, a request was received by the Department of Public Works in the <br />form of 1,263 individual petitions signed by residents or 55% of the total residents in the <br />subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 13-320.1 of the Prince William County <br />Code, the Board of County Supervisors conducted a public hearing to obtain public comments <br />on restricting on -street parking of trailers, watercraft, boat trailers, motor homes and camping <br />trailers; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby implement Section 13-320.1 of the Prince William County <br />Code to restrict all on -street parking of boats, trailers and similar vehicles on Rodes Drive, <br />Seibels Way, Seymour Road, and Shields Way, located in the Bull Run subdivision, <br />Gainesville Magisterial District, as shown by the attached map which is hereby incorporated by <br />reference® <br />ATTACHMENT: Map — Restricted Parking — Bull Run Subdivision <br />Votes: <br />Ayes: Barg, Caddigan, Connaughton, Covington, Nohe, Stewart, Stirrup <br />Nays: None <br />Absent from Vote: None <br />Absent from Meeting: Jenkins <br />For Information: <br />County Attorney <br />Director of Public Works <br />Transportation Division Chief <br />Transportation Planning Branch Chief <br />VDOT Manassas Residency Office <br />VDOT District Offic <br />
