MOTION: STIRRUP September 6, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: STEWART Ord. No. 05-59 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2005-00109, MAIN STREET <br />LANDSCAPING — GAINESVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to allow a landscaping service in the A-1 zoning <br />district. The site is located on the west side of Route 15, approximately 2,800 feet north of the <br />intersection of Logmill Road, ±1,000 feet south of the intersection of Loudoun Drive and Route <br />15. The site is identified on County maps as GPIN 7301-05-5127. The site is designated <br />Agricultural or Estate (AF), on the Comprehensive Plan, and is in the James Madison Highway <br />(Route 15) Highway Corridor Overlay District (HCOD); and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the. subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />June 15, 2005, and recommended approval, as stated in Planning Commission Resolution <br />Number 05-066; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on September 6, 2005, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2005-00109, Main Street <br />Landscaping, subject to the conditions dated May 27, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
