Turllr�� ' '� <br />June 28, 2005 <br />WWI <br />[91TIMMIX11 . <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2005-00232, KENSINGTON PLACE — WOODBRIDGE <br />UAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone approximately 11 acres on York Drive, <br />near the northbound 1-95 ramp to eastbound Prince William Parkway, from Agricultural (A-1) <br />and Urban Residential (R-30) to Urban Residential (R-30) to develop 333 multi -family <br />dwelling units. The property is identified on County maps as GPINs 8392-13-7652 and 8392- <br />23-3388, and is currently designated Suburban Residential High (SRH) in the Comprehensive <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is also the subject of Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment #PLN2004-00430, which changed the long-range land use designation from SRH <br />to Urban Residential High; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public bearing on this item on <br />May 18, 2005, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 05-056; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on June 28, 2005, and interested citizens <br />were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #PLN2005-00232, Kensington Place, <br />subject to the proffers dated June 27, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or <br />adopted standards. <br />
