rur� �I- I t <br />June 7, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: JENKINS Ord. No. 05-40 <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2004-00238, SPRIGGS WOOD ESTATES - <br />COLES MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />. My 11 <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone +/- 8.15 acres from A-1, Agricultural, to <br />R-4, Suburban Residential. The site is located approximately 5' )6 feet southeast of the <br />intersection of Spriggs Road and Terrapin Drive, and is identified as GPIN #7992-85-4894 and <br />7992-75-6882. The site is designated Suburban Residential Low in the Comprehensive Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />May 4, 2005, and recommends denial, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 05-047; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing, duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks, was held on June 7, 2005, and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #PLN2004-00238, Spriggs Wood Estates, <br />subject to the proffers dated May 12, 2005; and <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
