MOTION: BARG February 15, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: STEWART Ord. No. 05-14 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2005-00106, ST. PAUL UNITED <br />METHODIST CHURCH - WOODBRIDGE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to allow a religious institution with related <br />facilities, which is nonconforming, to construct a 15,500 square foot building addition, parking <br />and medical mobile lab space. The site is located on the north side of G Street, approximately <br />320 feet west of its intersection with Occoquan Road. The site is identified on County maps as <br />GPINs 8392-77-7415, 8392-87-0627 part, and 8392-77-9640 part. The site is zoned R-4, <br />Suburban Residential, and is designated Suburban Residential Low (SRL) in the <br />Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />January 19, 2005, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Resolution <br />Number 05-005; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on February 15, 2005, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2005-00106, St. Paul <br />United Methodist Church, subject to the conditions dated January 27, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or <br />adopted standards. <br />
