MOTION: COVINGTON January 4, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: NOHE Ord. No. 05-2 <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2004-00338, HAILEE'S GROVE II - BRENTSVILLE <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone +8.1 acres from A-1, Agricultural, to R- <br />4 (formerly R-10), Suburban Residential, for up to 20 single-family detached residences; and <br />WHEREAS, this site is located at 10715 Lucasville Road and 10489 Godwin <br />Drive and is identified as GPINS 7794-37-7127 and 7794-37-4421; and <br />WHEREAS, this site is designated Community Employment Center in the <br />Comprehensive Plan and has been proposed to be changed to Suburban Residential Low in the <br />companion Comprehensive Plan Amendment PLN2004-00194; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prince William County Planning Commission held a public <br />hearing on this item on November 17, 2004, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning <br />Commission Resolution Number 04-125; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for two weeks, was held on January 4, 2005, and interested parties were <br />heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Supervisors has determined that public <br />health, convenience, general welfare and good planning practices are served by the approval of <br />this application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #PLN2004-00338, Hailee's Grove II, <br />subject to proffers dated December 8, 2004, and revised and received on January 3, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any condition does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent owners <br />from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or adopted <br />standards. <br />
