MOTION: COVINGTON October 3, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: NOHE Ord. No. 06-88 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2006-00542, LITTLE ROCKETEER'S <br />CHILD CARE-BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to convert an existing single-family detached <br />dwelling to a child care facility for a maximum of 50 children. The site will not be used for <br />residential purposes unless this special use permit ceases. The special use permit (SUP) site is <br />located on the northeast side of Linton Hall Road, approximately 775 feet northwest of its <br />intersection with Sudley Manor Drive. The special use permit site is identified on County maps <br />as GPIN 7495-68-8688. The site is designated SRL, Suburban Residential Low; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />September 6, 2006, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission <br />Res. No. 06-133; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on October 3, 2006, <br />and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2006-60542, Little <br />Rocketeer's Child Care, subject to the conditions dated September 12, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
