MOTION: COVINGTON September 19, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: NOHE Ord. No. 06-85 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2006-00273, BRISTOW SHOPPING <br />CENTER-BB&T BANK - BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request for a special use permit (SUP) to allow a drive- <br />through facility associated with a by -right financial institution. The SUP site is located on the <br />southwest side of Linton Hall Road, approximately 840 feet northwest of its intersection with <br />Nokesville Road (Route 28) (see maps in Attachment A). The SUP site is identified on County <br />maps as GPIN 7595-41-3303 (part). The site is designated Neighborhood Commercial (NC), <br />Flexible Employment Center (FEC) and Suburban Residential Low (SRL). An extremely small <br />fraction of the site is located in the latter two plan designation and for purposes of this review <br />will be considered to be entirely planned NC; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />July 5, 2006, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 06-111; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on September 19, <br />2006, and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2006-00273, Bristow <br />Shopping Center -BB &T Bank, subject to the conditions dated September 19, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />Disclosure Statement Prior to Vote: Supervisor Covington <br />
