MOTION: COVINGTON September 5, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: STEWART Ord. No. 06-79 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2006-00340, INDUSTRIAL DISPOSAL <br />SERVICE-BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request for a special use permit (SUP) to allow a <br />construction materials recycling facility for solid construction waste, concrete crushing and <br />wood mulching. The SUP site is located at the western terminus of Developers Drive, <br />approximately 3,800 feet west of the intersection of Industrial Road and Hornbaker Road (see <br />maps in Attachment A). The SUP site is identified on County maps as GPIN 7595-48-4313. <br />The site is designated Industrial Employment (EI), Flexible Employment Center (FEC) and <br />Environmental Resource (ER); and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />July 5, 2006, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. 06-114; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on September 5, 2006, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2006-00340, Industrial <br />Disposal Service, subject to the conditions dated August 4, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or <br />adopted standards. <br />
