MOTION: CARDIGAN August 1, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: COVINGTON Ord. No. 06-72 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2006-00271., ASHLAND SQUARE <br />FINANCIAL INSTITUTION —DUMFRIES MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to allow drive-through window service at a <br />financial institution. The site is located in the Ashland Square Shopping Center on the north <br />side of Dumfries Road, between realigned Spriggs Road and Carrs Brooke Way. The site is <br />identified on County maps as GPIN 8090-58-0640 (part), is zoned B-1, General Business, is in <br />the Dumfries Road HOOD, is also subject to the amended proffers approved with case PRA <br />#PLN2000-0001, and is designated Neighborhood Commercial; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its public hearing on July 5, 2006, <br />recommended approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 06-110; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on August 1, 2006, <br />and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve SUP 4PLN2006-00271, Ashland Square Financial <br />Institution, subject to the conditions dated August 1, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
