MOTION: STEWART March 21, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: JENKINS Ord. No. 06-31 <br />RE: PROFFER AMENDMENT #PLN2006-00203, SIENA CORPORATION <br />(EZ STORAGE) — OCCOQUAN MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to amend Rezoning #PLN2004-00128 to increase <br />the height of the freestanding lighting fixtures and to delete the requirement for earth -tone <br />colors for all the signage. The site is located on the east side of Elm Farm Road, approximately <br />200 feet north of Minnieville Road. The site is identified on County maps as GPIN 8292-23- <br />2492 (formerly 8292-23-3083), is zoned D-1, General Business, and is designated Office in the <br />Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its public hearing on February 15, <br />2006, recommended approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 06-035; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on March 21, 2006, <br />and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Proffer Amendment #PLN2006-00203, Siena <br />Corporation (ezStorage), subject to the proffers dated March 20, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
