MOTION: NONE March 7, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: COVINGTON Ord. No. 06-26 <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2004-00309, WANANT PROPERTY - COLES <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone approximately 11.8 acres from A-1, <br />Agricultural, to R-4, Suburban Residential, for a maximum of 26 single-family detached <br />dwellings, for a density of 2.2 dwelling units per acre. The site is located on the south side of <br />Websters Way, approximately 923 feet southeast of its intersection with Hoadly Road, and is <br />identified on County maps as GPINs 9092-29-6787 and 8092-29-2011. The site is designated <br />Suburban Residential Low in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />December 7, 2005, and recommends approval as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 05- <br />151; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on March 7, 2006, <br />and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #PLN2004-00309, Wanant Property, <br />subject to the proffers dated February 9, 2006; <br />
