MOTION: COVINGTON February 21, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: NONE Ord. No. 06-18 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2005-00499, BROAD RUN INDUSTRIAL <br />PARK MOTOR VEHICLE IMPOUNDMENT, TOWING AND/OR <br />STORAGE - BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to permit the use of a +/-3 acre lot for motor <br />vehicle storage, impoundment and/or towing. The site is located on Contractors Court, +/- <br />2,600 ft. west of the intersection of Hornbaker Rd. and Industrial Rd. The parcel is identified <br />as GPIN 7595-57-4774, is zoned M-1, Heavy Industrial, and is designated Industrial <br />Employment in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />January 18, 2006, and recommended approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 06- <br />005; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on February 21, 2006, <br />and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2005-00499, Broad Run <br />Industrial Park Motor Vehicle Impoundment, Towing and/or Storage, subject to the conditions <br />dated January 3, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
