MOTION: JENKINS December 19, 2046 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: BARG Ord. No. 06-110 <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2006-00534, CLARKE PROPERTY — OCCOQUAN <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone 13.24 acres from A-1, Agricultural, to <br />PMR, Planned Mixed Residential, for a maximum of 21 single-family detached dwellings. The <br />site is located on the south side of Old Bridge Road, near its intersection with Springwoods <br />Drive, is identified on County maps as GPINs 8193-82-7949, 8193-82-6510, 8193-82-5739, <br />81.93-82-7437, 8193-91-0570 and 8193-82-4935, and is designated Suburban Residential Low <br />and Environmental Resource; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its public hearing on October 18, <br />2006, recommended approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 06-165; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on December 19, <br />2006, and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has agreed to meet with the neighbors to discuss low <br />impact development; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve REZ #PLN2006-00534, Clarke Property, subject to <br />the proffers dated November 30, 2406; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any proffers does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
