MOTION: NOHE December 5, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: JENIGNS Ord. No. 06-105 <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2006-00269, VANDELINDE PROPERTY - COLES <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone 16 acres from A-1, Agricultural, to SR- <br />I, Semi -Rural Residential, for a maximum of five single-family detached dwellings. The <br />subject site is located on the west side of Cornwell Drive, approximately 2,000 feet north of the <br />intersection of Purcell Road and Cornwell Drive. The site is identified on County maps as <br />GPIN 7993-37-0191. The site is zoned A-1, Agricultural, and is designated Semi -Rural <br />Residential (SRR) and Environmental Resource (ER), in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />November 1, 2006, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission <br />Res. No. 06-170; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing, duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks, was held on December 5, 2006, and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning 4PLN2006-00269, Vandelinde Property, <br />subject to the proffers dated October 17, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
