MOTION: STIRRUP December 5, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: CADDIGAN Ord. No. 06-103 <br />RE: PROFFER AMENDMENT #PLN2006-00525, THE GLEN, PARCEL 7 — <br />OCCOQUAN MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request for an amendment to the proffers approved with <br />PRA#PLN2002-00064 to permit Parcel 7 of The Glen to develop as 53,640 square feet of <br />offices in multiple buildings rather than a single building and a 3,984 square. feet. financial <br />institution. The site is located in The Glen, at the southeast corner of the intersection of Old <br />Bridge Road with the Prince William Parkway, is identified on County maps as GPIN 8193-50- <br />5200, and is designated Community Employment Center; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its public hearing on October 4, <br />2006, recommended approval, as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. 06-152; and <br />WHEREAS, a Prince William Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, <br />duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on December 5, 2006, <br />and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors recommend <br />right -out access onto Old Bridge Road be considered as part of the site plan review for this <br />case; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve PRA #PLN2006-00525, The Glen Parcel 7, subject to <br />the proffers dated December 5, 2006; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any proffers does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations, or adopted standards. <br />
