MOTION: LAWSON December 13, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: NOHE Ord. No. 16-54 <br />RE: REZONING #REZ2016-00011,11120 LLC AT INDUSTRIAL ROAD — <br />BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone ±1.99 acres from M-2, Light Industrial, <br />to M/T, Industrial/Transportation; and <br />WHEREAS, the site is currently developed with an existing industrial facility; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the subject ±1.99 -acre property is located approximately 1,030 <br />feet west of the intersection of Industrial Road and Hornbaker Road, is addressed as 11120 <br />Industrial Road, and is identified on County Maps as GPIN 7595-78-1595; and <br />WHEREAS, the site is zoned M-2, Light Industrial, and is located within the <br />Data Center Opportunity Overlay District and the Airport Safety Overlay District; and <br />WHEREAS, the site is designated EI, Industrial Employment, in the <br />Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its public hearing on <br />November 2, 2016, recommended approval, as stated in Planning Commission Resolution <br />Number 16-065; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on December 13, 2016, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors finds that public <br />necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practices are served by the approval <br />of the request; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #REZ2016-00011, 11120 LLC at Industrial <br />Road, subject to the proffers dated October 19, 2016; <br />
