No. 16-17 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #SUP2016-00010, FAMILY DAY HOME — AMY <br />PERSAUD — OCCOQUAN MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request for a special use permit to allow a family day <br />home for up to nine children and one non-resident employee in a townhome located at 3438 <br />Aviary Way; and <br />WHEREAS, the site is located within the Lake Ridge residential planned <br />community, is identified on County maps as GPIN 8293-19-7664, and is t 294 ft. northwest <br />of the intersection of Hedges Run Drive and Aviary Way; and <br />WHEREAS, the site is designated and zoned RPC, Residential Planned <br />Community. As part of the Lake Ridge RPC, the planned land use for this property and the <br />surrounding neighborhood is Suburban Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its public hearing on <br />March 16, 2016, recommended approval as stated in Planning Commission Resolution Number <br />16-020; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing, duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks, was held by the Board of County Supervisors on May 17, 2016, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board finds that public necessity, convenience, general welfare <br />and good zoning practices are served by the approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #SUP2016-00010, Family Day <br />Home — Amy Persaud, subject to the conditions dated February 25, 2016; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors' approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations or adopted standards. <br />
