MOTION: ANDERSON <br />SECOND: LAWSON <br />February 23, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting <br />Ord. No. 16-08 <br />RE: PROFFER AMENDMENT #REZ2016-00009, OCCOQUAN OVERLOOK <br />— OCCOQUAN MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to amend the proffers from Rezoning #PLN2007- <br />00817 to reduce the number of permitted single-family detached dwelling units from two units <br />to one unit on the 10.31 -acre site; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject site is located on the north side of Occoquan <br />Overlook approximately 105 feet northeast of its intersection with Old Bacon Race Road and <br />is identified on County maps as GPIN #8194-16-4273; and <br />WHEREAS, the site is designated SRR, Semi -Rural Residential, and ER, <br />Environmental Resource, and is zoned SR -5, Semi -Rural; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its public hearing on <br />January 20, 2016, recommended approval as stated in Planning Commission Resolution <br />Number 16-003; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on February 23, 2016 and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors believes that <br />public general welfare, as well as good zoning practices are served by the approval of this <br />request; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Proffer Amendment #REZ2016-00009, Occoquan <br />Overlook, subject to proffers dated December 8, 2015; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any proffered conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations or adopted standards. <br />
