MOTION:MCQUIGG December 16,1997 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND:WILBOURN Ord.No.97-111 <br />RE:SPECIAL USE PERMIT #97-0030,7-ELEVEN AT TELEGRAPH ROAD <br />(OCCOQUAN MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT) <br />ACTION:APPROVED AS CONDITIONED <br />WHEREAS,this is an application for a special use permit to allow a quick- <br />service food store with retail motor vehicle fuel sales,located on the northeastern corner of the <br />intersection of Telegraph Road and Prince William Parkway.The site is designated RCC, <br />Regional Commercial Center in the 1990 Comprehensive Plan and is located in the Occoquan <br />Magisterial District;and <br />WHEREAS,staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in their staff report prepared September 22,1997;and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held public hearings on this item on <br />October 15,1997 and November 19,1997 and recommends approval,as stated in Res.No.97- <br />126;and <br />WHEREAS,a public hearing,duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks,was held on December 16,1997,and interested citizens were heard;and <br />WHEREAS,general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #97-003 0,7-Eleven at Telegraph <br />Road,subject to the conditions dated November 19,1997; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors’approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations,or adopted standards.
