ATTACHMENT <br />Ord.No.97-107 <br />Special Use Permit #98-0008 December 2,1997 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Chevy Chase Bank at The Glen <br />Conditions <br />December 2,1997 <br />The site shall be developed in substantial conformance with the Special Use Permit Plan <br />prepared by The Engineering Groupe.Inc.on July 6.1996,revised October 4,1996 and <br />received by the Office of Planning on October 7.1996,except that additional shrubbery <br />shall be added on the eastern portion of the site in the landscape strip between the drive- <br />through lanes and Merchant Plaza.Said additional shrubbery shall consist of at least 12 <br />evergreen shrubs,to be located and integrated within the existing landscaping.to provide <br />additional screening of the drive-through lanes from Old Bridge Road. <br />2.The building shall be designed and constructed in substantial conformance with the~ <br />Building elevations prepared by Leo Daly,dated September 3,1996,with the latest <br />revision date of September 10,1996 and received by the Office of Planning on October 7, <br />1996.and the color rendering labeled concept elevations prepared by Leo Daly,dated <br />July 19,1996 and received by the Office of Planning on October 7,1996.The brick and <br />columns of the building shall use the same color family used in the shopping center. <br />Facade signs shall be permitted as shown on the building elevations.No other facade or <br />freestanding signs shall be permitted.The lighting for the facade signs shall be low <br />intensity so as not to generate glare and the facing material for the signs shall be e.ff-whi.~e <br />red with a matte finish to further reduce intensity. <br />3.A maximum of three drive-through lanes shall be permitted. <br />4.Streamers,pennants,banners.balloons,garrison flags,figures,searchlights,outside <br />poster,temporary advertising,and signs posted on vehicles shall be prohibited. <br />5.The following monetary contributions shall be paid at the time of site plan approval: <br />a)The applicant shall provide a monetary contribution of $75.00 to Prince William <br />County for purposes of monitoring water quality.(paid) <br />b)The applicant shall provide a monetary contribution of $795.00 to Prince William <br />County for a future bike trail and transit improvements in the Old Bridge corridor. <br />(paid) <br />c)The applicant shall provide a monetary contribution of $800.00 to Prince William <br />County for fire &rescue services.(paid) <br />Page I
