MOTION:THOMPSON <br />SECOND:BARG <br />October 28,1997 <br />Regular Meeting <br />Ord.No.97-94 <br />RE:SPECIAL USE PERMIT #97-0033,7-ELEVEN AT WELLINGTON <br />(BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT) <br />ACTION:APPROVED WITH MODIFIED CONDITIONS <br />Absent from Vote:None <br />Absent from Meeting:None <br />For information: <br />Acting Planning Director <br />WHEREAS,this is a request for a special use permit for retail sales of motor <br />vehicle fuel and a 2,940 square-foot quick-service food store as an ancillary use.The site is <br />located at the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Wellington Road and Balls Ford Road,in <br />the Brentsville Magisterial District;and <br />WHEREAS,staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval,subject to conditions,as stated in their staff report prepared September 10,1997;and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />October 1,1997,and recommended approval as stated in Res.No.97-100;and <br />WHEREAS,a public hearing,duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks,was held on October 28,1997,and interested citizens were heard;and <br />WHEREAS,general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #97-003 3,7-Eleven at <br />Wellington,subject to the attached conditions; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors’approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent developers from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations,or adopted standards. <br />ATTACHMENT:Special Use Permit Conditions <br />Votes: <br />Ayes:Barg,Caddigan,Hill,Jenkins,McQuigg,Seefeldt,Thompson,Wilbourn <br />Nays:None <br />Michael R.Vanderpool,Esquire <br />Vanderpool,Frostick &Massey,P.C. <br />9324 West Street,Suite 400 <br />Manassas,Virginia 20110-5144 <br />CERTIFIED COPY <br />Clerk to I
