MOTION:MCQUIGG June 3,1997 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND:WILBOURN Ord,No.97-57 <br />RE:REZONING #97-0013,PARKWAY CROSSING (OCCOQUAN <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT) <br />ACTION:APPROVED AS PROFFERRED <br />WHEREAS,this is an application to amend the proffered conditions for the <br />property known as Parkway Crossing (Rezoning #96-26)for approximately 26.7 acres located <br />on the east side of the Prince William Parkway at Homer Road and 1-95.The site is zoned <br />Planned Business District and is designated Regional Commercial Center in the 1990 <br />Comprehensive Plan and is located in the Occoquan Magisterial District;and <br />WHEREAS,staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in their staff report prepared April 22,1997;and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />May 7,1997 and recommends approval,as stated in Res.No.97-049;and <br />WHEREAS,a public hearing,duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks,was held on June 3,1997,and interested citizens were heard;and <br />WHEREAS,general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #97-00 13,Parkway Crossing,and does <br />accept the proffers dated May 14,1997 and received by the Planning Office on May 19,1997; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors’ <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances,regulations,or <br />adopted standards,
