MOTION:THOMPSON September 2,1997 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND:HILL Ord.No.97-83 <br />RE:SPECIAL USE PERMIT #97-0013,WOODBINE COMMERCIAL <br />(BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT) <br />ACTION:APPROVED AS CONDITIONED <br />WHEREAS,this is an application for a special use permit to allow motor vehicle <br />fuel sales,a fast food restaurant with drive-through window,quick-service food store,and self- <br />service car wash,located on the west side of Dumfries Road,approximately 125 feet south of its <br />intersection with Hoadly Road.The site is designated NC,Neighborhood Commercial in the <br />1990 Comprehensive Plan and is located in the Brentsville Magisterial District;and <br />WHEREAS,staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends approval <br />as stated in their staff report addendum,dated June 25,1997;and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held public hearings on this item on <br />January 22,1997,March 19,1997 and July 16,1997 and recommends approval,as stated in Res. <br />No.97-79;and <br />WHEREAS,a public hearing,duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks,was held on September 2,1997,and interested citizens were heard;and <br />WHEREAS,general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the approval <br />of the application; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #97-0013,Woodbine Commercial, <br />subject to the attached conditions; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of County <br />Supervisors’approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or <br />subsequent owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, <br />regulations,or adopted standards.
