MOTION:MCQUIGG May 6,1997 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND:JENKINS Ord,No.97-42 <br />RE:SPECIAL USE PERMIT #97-0022,CARIRABBA’S AT ROLLINGWOOD <br />CENTER (OCCOQUAN MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT) <br />ACTION:APPROVED WITH MODIFICATIONS TO CONDITION #2 <br />WHEREAS,this is an application for a special use permit to allow a <br />freestanding restaurant at the Center at Rollingwood shopping center,located at the southeast <br />corner of the intersection of Smoketown and Minnieville Roads.The site is designated CC, <br />Community Commercial in the 1990 Comprehensive Plan and is located in the Occoquan <br />Magisterial District;and <br />WHEREAS,staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in their staff report prepared March 18,1997;and <br />WHEREAS,the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />April 3,1997 and recommends approval,as stated in Res.No.97-036;and <br />WHEREAS,a public hearing,duly advertised in a local newspaper for a period <br />of two weeks,was held on May 6,1997,and interested citizens were heard;and <br />WHEREAS,general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #97-0022,Carrabba’s at <br />Rollingwood Center,subject to the attached conditions; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors’ <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances,regulations,or <br />adopted standards.
