MOTION: COVINGTON March 15, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: BARG Ord. No. 05-19 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT (SUP) # PLN2005-00144, VIRGINIA GATEWAY <br />ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL - BRENTSVILLE MAGISTERIAL <br />DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to allow a motor vehicle rental/lease (limited) use <br />in the B-1 zoning district. The use is proposed as a tenant within a multi -tenant building in a <br />portion of a 10.01 -acre site located at 7486 Limestone Drive, within the Virginia Gateway <br />Shopping Center, on the west side of Wellington Road. The site is identified on County maps <br />as a portion of GPIN 7397-93-1744, is zoned B-1, General Business, and HCOD, Highway <br />Corridor Overlay District, and is classified Regional Commercial Center (RCC) and <br />Environmental Resource (ER) in the Comprehensive Plan, and is also within the 1-66/Route 29 <br />Sector Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />February 16, 2005, and recommends approval as stated in Planning Commission Res. No. <br />05-018; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on March 15, 2005, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve SUP # PLN2005-00144, Virginia Gateway Enterprise <br />Car Rental, subject to the conditions dated February 3, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />It HAT"_ from com liance with the [•rovisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or <br />adopted standards. <br />
