MOTION: BARG February 15, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: CARDIGAN Ord. No, 05-13 <br />RE: SPECIAL USE PERMIT #PLN2004-00371, WACHOVIA BANK AT <br />PORT POTOMAC - WOODBRIDGE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to allow a drive-through facility associated with a <br />by -right financial institution. The site is located on the east side of Jefferson Davis Highway <br />(Route 1), approximately 600 feet south of its intersection with Port Potomac Avenue. The site <br />is identified on County maps as GPIN 8290-82-2273 (part) (previously part of GPIN 8290-82- <br />4197). The site is zoned B-1, General Business, is in the Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1) <br />Highway Corridor Overlay District (HCOD), is designated Neighborhood Commercial (NC) <br />and Suburban Residential Medium (SRM) in the Comprehensive Plan and is located within the <br />Potomac Cunununitics; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />January 19, 2005, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Resolution <br />Number 05-004; and <br />WHEREAS, a Board of County Supervisors' public hearing, duly advertised in <br />a local newspaper for a period of two weeks, was held on February 15, 2005, and interested <br />citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Special Use Permit #PLN2004-00371, Wachovia <br />Bank at Port Potomac, subject to the conditions dated February 15, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or <br />adopted standards. <br />
