MOTION: JENKINS January 18, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND; CADDIGAN Ord. No. 05-8 <br />RE: REZONING #PLN2004-00341, PARKWAY II OFFICE <br />CONDOMINIUMS - NEABSCO MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, this is a request to rezone 1.9 + acres from A-1, Agricultural, to <br />O(L), Low -Rise Office, to permit construction of a 2 -story, maximum 26,000 square foot office <br />building. The site is located at 3985 Prince William Parkway, approximately 700 feet east of <br />its intersection with Hillendale Drive, is identified on County maps as GPIN 8192-67-8319, <br />and is designated Office (0) in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the subject application and recommends <br />approval, as stated in the staff report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this item on <br />December 15, 2004, and recommends approval, as stated in Planning Commission Resolution <br />Number 04-149; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing, duly advertised in a local newspaper for period <br />of two weeks, was held on January 18, 2005, and interested citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by the <br />approval of the application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby approve Rezoning #PLN2004-00341, Parkway II Office <br />Condominiums, subject to the proffers dated January 9, 2005; <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Board of County Supervisors' <br />approval and adoption of any conditions does not relieve the applicant and/or subsequent <br />owners from compliance with the provisions of any applicable ordinances, regulations, or <br />adopted standards. <br />
