MOTION: STIRRUP January 4, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting <br />SECOND: BARG Res. No. 05-22 <br />RE: AUTHORIZE CONVEYANCE OF PERMANENT UTILITY <br />EASEMENTS ACROSS COUNTY PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5901 <br />ANTIOCH ROAD, GPIN 7298-16-3599, IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />BROAD RUN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT - GAINESVILLE <br />MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT <br />ACTION: APPROVED <br />WHEREAS, the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is <br />improving circuit capacity along Thoroughfare Road and this project includes providing <br />additional circuit capacity needed to supply the new Dominion Valley subdivision that is under <br />construction between Route 15 and Antioch Road; and <br />WHEREAS, this improvement converts .12 miles to double circuit along <br />Thoroughfare Road, across Interstate 66; and <br />WHEREAS, NOVEC has requested a 15 -foot wide utility easement and <br />variable width utility easement across County property located at 5901 Antioch Road, GPIN <br />7298-16-3599; and <br />WHEREAS, the County owns the 3.8 -acre site located at 5901 Antioch Road, <br />GPIN 7298-16-3599, due to a conveyance from Dominion Country Club, L.P.; and <br />WHEREAS, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors conducted a <br />public hearing on January 4, 2005, in accordance with Section 15.2-1800, VA Code Ann. to <br />consider the conveyance of permanent utility easements across County property; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the conveyance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Prince William Board of <br />County Supervisors does hereby authorize the conveyance of a 15 -foot wide permanent utility <br />easement and variable width utility easement, as shown on the attached plat entitled "Dominion <br />Valley Fire House, Prince William Fire & Rescue," dated October 12, 2004, prepared by <br />NOVEL, attached hereto and made a part thereof, across property owned by the Prince William <br />Board of County Supervisors, located at 5901 Antioch Road, in the Gainesville Magisterial <br />District, GPIN 7298-16-3599; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and the Clerk to the Board <br />are authorized to sign such documents as are necessary to effect the intent of this Resolution <br />and approved as to form by the County Attorney. <br />
